Balance Lab offers a 4-week series to support mindfulness-based wellness for your organization called Balance at Work.

This program offers a combination of didactic teaching and experiential practice. 

Mindfulness practices are experiential in nature - knowing or reading about them will not offer the same benefit as practicing them. Proposing here a series of four practice sessions that would each highlight one of the main benefits of practice, namely: Body awareness, Regulation of Attention, Regulation of Emotion, and Self Awareness.

As these benefits are intimately related, a practice session would necessarily include each of the four while being able to do a deeper dive into one of the particular dimensions week by week. In this way, participants could experience the benefits of these sessions individually or collectively as their schedule allows.

These 30-minute virtual sessions would begin with a few brief moments of a didactic lesson before inviting participants to follow guided practices. 

The guided practices may include and are not limited to body scans, guided meditation, mindful movement, walking meditation, lovingkindness meditation, circulation exercises and breathwork.

A few moments held at the end of each session for a brief Q&A can serve to guide the groups’  further exploration. 

These longer periods of practice are the basis for transformational change. Participants are encouraged to recognize what feels supportive and to recall and repeat practices in small moments many times throughout their own day, thus reinforcing habit change.

In an effort to make these sessions accessible to as many participants as possible the practice portion can be recorded and shared for the duration of the week in between meetings. (Note: the Q&A will not be included in the recording)

A once-a-week structure to be scheduled by mutual convenience is recommended.

Fees

Series of four 30-minute sessions including unlimited access to recordings - $900

  • $225 per session includes:

    • Balance Lab creates private Zoom Room, handles recording and distribution through dedicated page on www.balancelab.com LINK HERE

    • Email support throughout the series for those with questions

    • A one-pager “leave behind” participants can refer to into the future

A 15-minute trial session by way of introduction can be discussed.
