Using meditation, gentle body movement and experiential exercises, this course created in 1979 by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD, teaches tools to manage a wide range of life challenges more effectively.
The MBSR curriculum structure, philosophy and history are explained and any inquiries can be addressed. You must attend in person for CE/CPE, but if schedules do not allow, a phone interview will allow you to be prepared for the course.
MBSR Weekly Training + a Full-Day Retreat
8 weekly sessions coupled with one Sunday full day retreat (10:30am-5pm), in which participants learn and practice the skills of the MBSR method to cope more effectively with everyday stressors.
